As most of us know, sometimes it’s not easy making a point with someone you love.  They call it ‘tough love’ when you have to do or say something that usually is not your style or manner of action.  In this spirit, GLOOG must remind all of our fellow Americans who go on Jury Duty to keep in mind the following;

“There’s a sucker born every minute…”  – P.T. Barnum

Most of you can do the math and figure that this ‘duty’ is compensating you at about $2.50 per hour.  Now contemplate this little factoid;  while you are sitting there, (having taken off work, family duties and any and all obligations in your life) the lawyers and the Judges that you have ‘been ordered by them’  to give up your day to ‘assist’ are being compensated anywhere from about $200.00 to  $1,500.00 per hour, and in certain class action suits it could go up to $15,000 per hour! (A Silicon Valley business pays $1,500,000 in lawyers’ fees to settle a class action lawsuit in which the entire class receives $8,000.)

How’s that make you feel now?  They demand that YOU do YOUR ‘Civic Duty’ at $2.50/hr. while they rape the system of every penny they can extort out of it.   And you ‘have’ to sit there as long as they want in order to finish THEIR business and earn THEIR fortunes in Granite Palaces that YOU paid for for THEM to work in!

Starting to think maybe Mr. Barnum was right?

Let’s simplify what is actually going on here.  You have been ordered to appear and to work on ‘their plantation’ for what amounts to no pay.  (In fact the peanuts they throw your way amount to a net loss financially for you for that days or weeks pay.)   And while you are being forced to labor for them they will earn exorbitant amounts of money which they will keep for themselves.  This little simple perspective now brings to light the obvious Constitutional conflict here:

The Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution officially outlaws slavery and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for a crime. It was passed by the Senate on April 8, 1864, by the House on January 31, 1865, and adopted on December 6, 1865.   On December 18, Secretary of State William H. Seward proclaimed it to have been adopted.

So next time you are called for jury duty, send them a copy of the 13th Amendment of the US Constitution.    Tell them that whoever signed the summons is committing a felony under Title 18 of the U.S. Code § 1589 (“Forced labor”) states:

Sec. 1589. Forced labor
Whoever knowingly provides or obtains the labor or services of a person–
(1) by threats of serious harm to, or physical restraint against, that person or another person;
(2) by means of any scheme, plan, or pattern intended to cause the person to believe that, if the person did not perform such labor or services, that person or another person would suffer serious harm or physical restraint; or
(3) by means of the abuse or threatened abuse of law or the legal process,

shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both …

Let’s give some simple perspective to this scam and injustice forced on Americans.  Hat Tip to my friend Dennis Schuelke who wrote the book:  Attorney’s Above The Law.   When he sets up a booth at an Expo to sell his book, he puts this sign on the table.  This method of illustrating injiustice is most commonly used to expose the rediculousness of Affirmative Action;  Here’s both signs:

And Finally, As They Usually Do, Lawyers Once Again Show We Are Just Pawns In Their Game and That Indeed They Are America’s Privileged Class:

Do lawyers, judges, etc. have to serve jury duty?

They can be called in since the registration doesn’t list occupation or other personal data.
Almost all lawyers for the defense or prosecution will have them dismissed during jury selection.

So ‘The Masters’ make sure that THEY don’t have to work with the SLAVES…
