There are three common ‘acquired’ characteristics that dominate most graduates of law school;  1. A ‘Holier Than Thou’ Conceit toward the ‘underclass’ of non-lawyers,  2. A Narcissistic Approach to life and the world that surrounds them and 3. A Grandiose Self Importance that makes their self anointed privilege class status an inarguable position.
Combine these three characteristics and you have the essence of America’s modern day lawyers and judges.   Be they in the private sector as trial lawyers or in the public sector as government lawyers, judges or politicians, they all belong to this ‘ privileged class’, which in every aspect of society, has legal and political control over “We The People.”

When you add up the three ‘lawyer class’ characteristics there is no way to avoid the outcome; Arrogance.   And there can be no better representative of this than one Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

Just imagine being a ‘Supreme’ Court Justice?   The privileges, the honors, the salary, the pensions, the ‘perks’ and on and on and on….   And what special talent or accomplishment gets you all of this?   It’s very simple: pass the Bar Exam and get lucky, no further qualifications necessary…   And all made possible for you by The Founding Fathers in The Constitution.    The one and only reference that you are supposed to rely on and respect for your privileged position.

And so how does Ms. Ginsberg show her appreciation and her respect for those and that which gave her such privilege;
“I would not look to the U.S. constitution, if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012. I might look at the constitution of South Africa…”

And if you think that my description of this ‘lawyer class’ is over the top, listen to her interpretation of what the high points of this great document are: Ginsburg also noted that among her favorite parts of the Constitutions is the provision that judges’ salaries cannot be reduced, as well as a guarantee of independence to judges.

Mathew Staver, chief of Liberty Counsel:

“For a sitting U.S. Supreme Court justice to speak derisively about the Constitution she is sworn to uphold is distressing, to say the least. Justice Ginsburg’s comments about our Constitution undermine the Supreme Court as an institution dedicated to the rule of law, as well as our founding document.”

According to Liberty Counsel, “For a United States Supreme Court justice, entrusted with the duty to interpret the Constitution, this type of statement is unacceptable. Justice Ginsburg failed to respect the authority of the document that it is her duty to protect. When given the opportunity to promote American liberty abroad, Justice Ginsburg did just the opposite and pointed Egypt in the direction of progressivism and the liberal agenda.”

I was going to embed the video interview here but after watching only a few minutes it just sickened me.  You can Google it if you have a better stomach than me.  Another despicable lawyer destroying our country…
