True Representative Government
-  AND NOW  -

230 years later, again we find ourselves faced with ' taxation without representation '.
Lawyers represent 3/10th of 1 percent of the population yet have an 80% representation in our government.  Translation: The the taxation of 99.997% of the American people is created, implemented, controlled, and enforced by .003 percent of the people, indeed a privileged class.
The same .003 population or privileged class, are creating, implementing and, via the courts, interpreting and enforcing the laws we have to live by.
Again a privileged class rules over the American people.
( See The 13th Amendment )

It is " Of the People, By The People, & For The People..."
NOT " Of the lawyers, By The lawyers, & For The lawyers..."

Again We Will Revolt.

The 2nd American Revolution has begun.
-  THEN  -

No taxation without representation" began as a slogan in the period 1763–1776 that summarized a primary grievance of the British colonists in the Thirteen Colonies. In short, many in those colonies believed the lack of direct representation in the distant British Parliament was an illegal denial of their rights as Englishmen.
These Americans rejected the Stamp Act 1765  and in 1773 violently rejected the remaining tax on tea imports at the Boston Tea Party.  The complaint was never officially over the amount of taxation (the taxes were quite low, though ubiquitous), but always on the political decision-making process by which taxes were decided by those not representing the colonists.
When the British then used the military to enforce laws the colonists believed Parliament had passed illegally, the colonists responded by forming militias and seized political control of each colony, ousting the royal governors.
America's first Revolution had begun.
